Jaclyn Zimmermann concentrates her practice in the areas of personal injury litigation, medical malpractice litigation, employment law and workers' compensation. She represents individuals who have been injured by the conduct of another, as well as people who have been terminated from their jobs in violation of the law. Jaclyn has litigated medical malpractice and personal injury cases in numerous courts throughout Missouri, and has appeared before the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Eastern District, and drafted successful briefs for other appellate courts in Missouri.
Prior to her work at Ponder Zimmermann LLC, Jaclyn focused her practice on defending insurance companies and hospitals in medical malpractice cases. She also litigated premises liability cases, such as slip and fall accidents. Jaclyn also worked on various commercial litigation matters, defending business in a wide variety of litigation matters. After working on the defense side for several years, Jaclyn now represents individuals and families with their legal problems. Her prior experience working for insurance companies and corporations gives her a unique insight to handle individuals' problems.
Jaclyn graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where she graduated third in her class. She served as an editor for the UMKC Law Review. Immediately following graduation from law school, Jaclyn served as a judicial law clerk for a federal judge. During her time clerking, Jaclyn worked on many complex federal civil and criminal cases.
Jaclyn is licensed to practice in Missouri and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. She is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the American Association for Justice, the Family Law Section of the Missouri Bar, the St. Charles County Bar Association, and the Women Lawyers' Association of Greater St. Louis. Jaclyn is originally from Steelville, Missouri, and currently resides in St. Louis with her husband and son.
